The role

We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic Occupational Health Nurse Advisor, to work with us to support us in the delivery of our services.

We can accommodate a part time, or full time role and we can also consider term time work. The post will be based at our office in Northwich, Cheshire and we may be able to accommodate remote working too. Our core hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and we can flex to accommodate an earlier or later start.

Qualifications (desirable)

Level 1 Nurse, NMC registration code RN1, RNA. Occupational Health Qualification (Cert, Diploma, Degree).

Experience (desirable)

  • Strong case management skills
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an occupational health setting
  • Computer literate with practical skills, all our reports typed
  • Effective organisational and time management skills
  • Sound communication skills with ability to work independently within a small team

Responsibilities

You will be undertaking case management and pre-placement assessment via telephone assessment or via our new video platform ‘Smart Clinic’ (www.smartclinic.com). 

Training will be provided for the video platform.

You are required to keep clear and accurate records, using our system, ensuring records are always kept confidentially and securely.

You will be asked to triage where needed with effective signposting to appropriate services.

We will expect you to contribute to the internal clinical audit process, continuously evaluating your own practice and contributing towards the practice of others.

Adherence to our KPIs always is key to our service delivery. We ask you to work cooperatively with our colleagues and clients and respect the skills, expertise and contributions of others.
